Our firm’s practice includes all aspects of family and matrimonial law in New York. Our office is located across the street from Grand Central Station.
We have three experienced matrimonial attorneys — Wendy J. Parmet, Elysa Greenblatt and Nicole C. Fitzgerald — who are committed to advocating zealously for our clients, whether that advocacy takes the shape of negotiation, litigation, trial work, appellate practice, law guardianship or alternate dispute resolution. Our experience in the field of family law runs the gamut of practice areas:
- Preparing and negotiating prenuptial, postnuptial and separation agreements
- Resolving contested custody and parenting time issues
- Analyzing what constitutes an equitable distribution of marital assets in each unique case, including identifying and handling complex valuation issues
- Obtaining necessary spousal and child support for our clients
- Preparing concise, yet creative, appellate briefs
- Mediating family law disputes including custody, parenting time and economic issues.
Our goal is to offer our clients practical yet resourceful and imaginative solutions, clear explanations and personal attention. In many cases, we employ an interdisciplinary model, working together with mental health professionals, accountants and valuation experts to address all issues that are important to our clients.
We have also joined the growing group of attorneys practicing in the field of collaborative law in New York, a non-adversarial form of dispute resolution that seeks to transform how individuals resolve conflict during divorce, non-marital dissolution, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreement negotiations.
